Recruitment responds to growth at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital

[We are excited to have such positive response to our website and our inquiries through Practice Link and Practice Alert. We have just added a new Neurosurgeon to our staff and have interviewed a great Vascular candidate. We are looking to add 6 additional Hospitalists in the upcoming year to keep up with the inpatient needs for our Family Medicine and Internal Medicine primary care providers. The ever increasing demand for our Emergency services has increased our need for 3-4 new ER physicians. The Spine Center is moving forward and we are looking for a PM&R physician to complete the team. We have added two new Primary Care groups and are looking for good candidates in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. Yakima is a great place to live and practice medicine!

Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital is a 225-bed regional referral center. The hospital has a full array of medical and surgical specialties and is licensed by the Washington Department of Health and fully accredited by The Joint Commission. Memorial is a member of the American Hospital Association and the Washington State Hospital Association. Memorial Specialty Clinics

[Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of Memorial Specialty Clinics in Ellensburg, WA. This partnership with KVCM is bringing much needed specialty services to our neighbors in Ellensburg. Currently in the clinic are Oncology and Sleep Medicine, soon there will be a vascular surgeon. There is also interest in having physiatry, plastic surgery,endocrinology and neurosurgery. Our specialists will either have special clinic hours or host informational seminars in Ellensburg. We are hosting an open house reception Janauary 22nd for local physicians.
Our Christmas snow is melting, we are looking at high 40's for the rest of the week. Great skiing at White Pass and a new winery is opening downtown.
