WHAT WE DO: Working collaboratively with our local physicians, our Intensivist team provides high-quality patient-centered care at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Memorial has an outstanding medical staff, including access to all medical and surgical sub-specialties. We offer flexible scheduling with a reasonable workload, and a comprehensive compensation package. There are opportunities for faculty appointment and medical student teaching.

WHAT YOU BRING: A passion for excellent patient care, an ability to work well with multidisciplinary care teams, and a commitment to continuous quality improvement and making care for our patients safe, effective and efficient. Minimum requirements include a medical degree from an accredited school, and American Board of Internal Medicine certification (or eligibility), and a license or license eligibility to practice medicine in Washington.

Psychiatry An opportunity to consider
WHO WE ARE
We are seeking a general adult psychiatric to work with 3 other psychiatrics and 1 therapist in a fully supported hospital owned practice. We are looking for a candidate with strong backgrounds in both psychiatry and non psychiatric medical practice to build a C/L service to extend psychiatric services to the 225 bed general medical hospital and other associated medical clinics. Approximately 25% time would be devoted to C/L work and 75% time would be divided between traditional inpatient and outpatient work in our 18-bed state of the art psychiatric ward and our outpatient practice.

The largest of Memorial’s clinics, Cornerstone houses seventeen physicians and four mid-level providers. Patients requiring Hospital care are covered by the Clinic’s Hospitalist team at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Internal Medicine physicians may participate in the Clinic’s Hospitalist Service if desired. This clinic is known for innovations in patient care, knowing and respecting that every individual contributes to the well-being of their patients. Practice provides electronic medical records system. Cornerstone offers patients complete primary care including internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, obstetric care, hosptialist and intensivist services and laboratory services contributing to a busy practice seeing an average of 70,000 clinic patient visits annually. With the support of an efficient, professional staff, Cornerstone is an optimal place for the dedicated physician to practice medicine.

Minimum Requirements
Medical degree from an accredited school. Experience: Graduation from an accredited IM residency program.
