WHO WE ARE
We are seeking a general adult psychiatrist to work with 3 other psychiatrists and 1 therapist in a fully supported hospital owned practice. We are looking for a candidate with strong backgrounds in both psychiatry and non psychiatric medical practice to build a C/L service to extend psychiatric services to the 225 bed general medical hospital and other associated medical clinics. Approximately 25% time would be devoted to C/L work and 75% time would be divided between traditional inpatient and outpatient work in our 18-bed state of the art psychiatric ward and our outpatient practice.

About Memorial
The emergency department (ED) at Memorial is a 25-bed unit staffed by 75 specialists who treat more than 80,000 patients a year. Care is available to all patients regardless of race, ethnic origin, religion or financial status. Physicians and nurses who are specially trained in emergency medicine provide care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Other specialists may be called in for consultation, special procedures and/or surgery. The ED provides for patients’ emergent needs; and, all patients presenting to the ED are examined by a physician. Patients are encouraged to have an established relationship with a primary care physician for routine medical care.
